A Strengths-Based Approach to Movement

Language matters. Function leads.

If a label isn't going to be helpful, do we really need to use it?

If an athlete has an injury and a diagnosis from a healthcare professional (like Osgood-Schlatter’s), a label/name is highly helpful. It provides a vital frame of reference so we can structure load management and build capacity safely.

Generally though here at oop movement, we focus on what we can do, training to move better and be stronger, without the use of labels. If your strength in range looks different than someone else's, that's ok. We use well-rounded programming to expand, restore, and challenge your movement options through progressive overload.
